About the Company
“Ekomir” – is the pharmaceutical company, specialized in the development of innovative nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals and functional beverages of high quality and efficacy proven in clinical trials. In just 4 years Ekomir has moved ~50 places in the rankings and now stands in top 10 of leading national and foreign manufactures in Russia.
Development of the products, for diseases prevention, health and life quality improvement is our mission.
Ekomir was founded in 1996. In 2000 our company entered the world dietary supplements market with “The Sea calcium” line, and the assortment has significantly widened within the next years. Since 2003 when the company had entered the market with its “Lutein-Complex” the popularity of the last has been steadily growing. According to the DSM Group Retail Audit Data the “Lutein-Complex” is one of the 5 best dietary supplements sellers in cost volume pharmaceutical sales in Russia, and according to the results of May 2008 year took 1st place among all lutein containing products in Russia.
Nowadays the two innovative medications have significantly firm positions in their category and continue gaining the loyalty of the final customers as well as the doctors. Clinical researches confirmed high efficacy of “Likoprofit” (urology) and “Bora Bora” (arthrology). Great results in complex therapy of diabetes mellitus and its complications showed “Coffeeberry” - the unique plant antioxidant from the whole coffee berry extract and natural Vitamin C.
The new line with actual motto “new quality of life” with such products like “Hoodia slim”, “Energy Active”, “Relax Comfort” and “Coenzyme beauty” has recently replenished the product family of the company.
Ekomir is also entering the new segment - the cosmeceuticals market, having produced the exclusive “premium –class” product- “Myoderm” lifting-gel and the cosmetics line of 11 items with the unique component formula, produced with nanotechnology.
Ekomir is today a dynamically developing group of companies constantly capturing market position. The Ekomir products are unique combinations of leading botanical extracts, essential vitamins and minerals. Many of which have been proven in clinical trials and the results published in peer reviewed journals. Ekomir puts a lot of effort in ensuring the best quality of their products sourcing materials from only world leading manufacturers such as DSM ( Switzerland), Naturex (France), Futureceuticals (USA), Biopharma (USA).
High quality of products is approved with various diplomas and awards: Honorable medal of Russian Mechnikov Academy of Natural Sciences, International Paul Ehrlich medal, “Golden quality mark of XXI century” and others.
“Health idea” is a first national award for achievements in parapharmaceutical field. There are Russian association of pharmaceutical marketing, Association of national developers and manufacturers of food supplements, Institute of nutrition RAMS and others are in its organization committee.
A goal of the project is to evaluate potential of the company, its position on the market, perspectives, success and innovative marketing policy.
Our Company was honored with the National award of health and life quality improvement – “Health idea -2006”. “Luthein Complex” won in the most prestigious marketing nomination – “The best advertising campaign”.
